Because of data privacy and security laws related to this project, only freelancers in the United States will be considered. Assistance researching and updating high school contacts; data entry via web-based interface. Work is straightforward and relatively simple, but requires strict adherence to instructions provided and attention to detail, as well as a willingness to ask questions rather than make assumptions. Assignments are provided via Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. An initial phone call of 30-60 minutes will be scheduled to go over instructions and answer any questions. Freelancer will need to be at a computer with Internet access during the call, and will be reimbursed for this time. Payment for the research/data entry work is calculated based on a fixed amount per school. ADDITIONAL NOTES IN ANSWER TO SEVERAL QUESTIONS: (1) Yes, we are interested in finding one or two freelancers who would like to work with us long-term, on an as-needed basis. (2) Each spreadsheet/assignment will contain between 200 and 300 high schools. There is an average of 3-4 contacts per school requiring review/update. Contact data consists of First and Last Name and Email address only. (3) A separate milestone is created for each spreadsheet, and completed work is reviewed before payment is released. If problems are noted, we will go over them with you, and give you a chance to correct any issues. (4) Additional assignments after the first 2 spreadsheets are dependent on quality of work. We provide very clear instructions and guidelines, and encourage questions, so it is simple to determine if the work is being done accurately. (5) Rate per school during the initial assessment period is $0.40 [40 cents]. If work is done satisfactorily, and you wish to continue working with us either short- or long-term, the rate will increase to $0.50 [50 cents] per school.
