This project involves programatically populating an Excel spreadsheet. The solution must be a console application written in C# that reads the data from an input file, opens and populates a Excel template file I will provide, and then saves the results in another Excel file. The template file contains a significant number of fields, but I only need help populating the fields that involve pressing a button on the spreadsheet. The solution CANNOT use Office Automation as the user running the application may not have Excel installed on their PC. I have enclosed a zip file containing a Word doc describing the requirements in detail, the template file, a sample output file that I generated manually to provide an example of what the resulting spreadsheet should be like, and sample photos and PDF.
Note that the template spreadsheet contains buttons that run macros so in your solution you will either need to programatically click the buttons or run the macros. For example, if the input data contains two "Deferred Maintenance" items, your program would need to click the "Add Deferred Maintenance" button to add a second row to the spreadsheet as the spreadsheet currently only contain a single row. You cannot simply add a row to the spreadsheet as the new row must contain buttons to re-sequence and delete the item. Please read the attached requirements doc for more information.
