It is well known that Deccan trap has basalt covering 500000 sq km of area. Find a source of basalt with following composition. Min mining possibility of 1 million cubic meters. SiO2 51.6–59.3
Al2O3 14.6–18.3
CaO 5.9–9.4
MgO 3.0–5.3
Na2O + K2O 3.6–5.2
TiO2 0.8–2.25
Fe2O3 + FeO 9.0–14.0
Others 0.09–0.13
It’s melting temperature is about 1400-1700 C. I would be interested in having a periodic testing of samples over next 10 years for testifying the properties to be within the range.
