Junior Graphic Designer (Paid Per Design)

Looking for a talented Jr. Graphic Designer to join our fast-growing team. You will assist our Senior Graphic Designer, and Director of Marketing to contribute to all aspects of our company's visual branding. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of graphic design experience, either in a corporate environment or as a freelancer. While this is a part-time position, you will have the potential to be brought onto the staff full time if the trial period goes well. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to): • Create vector graphics on an ongoing basis for digital printing and screen printing. We will provide you with the .png file and pay per design vectorized. • Assisting the Senior Graphic Designer and Digital Creative Director with their design needs on an ongoing basis • Resizing & cropping • Design graphics for use on social media, our blog, and our emails • Layout and design print collateral and editorial publications Skills & Experience: • 1-2 years of professional graphic design experience required • Advanced knowledge of Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign required (CS5+) • Experience creating vector graphics required • Experience designing marketing assets and branding materials (e.g. banner ads, web graphics, brochures, mailers, decks, letterheads, etc.) strongly preferred • Strong understanding of typography fundamentals • HTML & web design experience a plus • Familiarity with contemporary trends in graphic design • Ability to work on a deadline and in a collaborative environment
