I am seeking a talented game developer to help create an adventure game around the theme of Borderline Personality Disorder (BPD). I am a young person wanting to put my awareness out there as iv struggled with it personally. I don't have a budget or any money to work with i just want help to make a game.
This project is highly specific and requires a careful and empathetic approach, due to its mental health focus.
The specific type of game I have in mind falls under the umbrella of role-playing, puzzle-solving, and adventure. The key aspects of the game development I'd like to emphasize includes:
- Mental Health Understanding: Crafting a game narrative that helps players understand the symptoms and triggers of BPD.
- Building Empathy: Creating a storyline and characters that humanize those suffering from BPD, aiding in building empathy.
- Encouraging Support: Incorporating elements that encourage players to engage in help-seeking behaviors for mental health issues, specifically BPD.
The game should be designed for Desktop and Console platforms. Professionals with experience or interest in mental health, and skills in storytelling, character development and user engagement, would be ideally suited for this project. Familiarity with creating role-playing, puzzle-solving, and adventure games is also necessary.
