Design a PHPBB forum 3.1 futuristic style

I have a community dedicated to Space Games, especially simulators, games like Star Citizen and Elite Dangerous, and we would like to have a style for the forum that represents this vision, nothing too fancy just the right colors and background.

Requeriments:

It has to be compatible with PhPbb version 3.1 and above.
