Answer Iscsi \ SAN\ Failover Cluster Questions & Troubleshooting

I Created a SAN with Microsoft software Iscsi Target - I plan to deply A Failover Cluster for testing.

I created 2 VHD's one for Data and service roles and another as a Witness Disk. (see iscsi-target&&[url removed, login to view])

When I use Iscsi initiator on my 2 Nodes- 4 hard disk are configured even though I only configured 2 vhds.

on Node1 i brought 3/4 disks online - The last one says "Incorrect function" if I try to bring it online. (see [url removed, login to view])

on Node 2 only 2\4 disk come online (which makes more sense) -(see [url removed, login to view])

Whats going on here??

How do I fix it?

Does this have anything to do with Multipath i\o? (The feature isnt installed on any)
