The bidding is over. We have not received any satisfactory responses. We are now extending the bid and looking for a developer who has a Storefront.net developer license that they can use to generate us a store by March 16th. The brief remains the same.

My thanks to everyone who placed a bid on this project. I am sorry I could not respond to all of you. The situation is that we could not find a components or set of components out there in ASP.NET that are well thought through enough to do the job and at the right price point. Just like us there are thousands of webstore owners out there that are looking for very hard to find easily extendable webstores. The template stuff just isnt flexible enough.......and those who sell their source code are few and far between and indeed overpriced. Someone out there should address this - a low cost asp.net platform for selling online that is easily extensible (buy the services or do it yourself) sold by a responsive and engaging organisation with in depth working knowledge of how small and medium sized traders work, their business processes and their online marketing needs would clean up.....
