Hi what we want made is an android application and a website. Within both of these programs we intend on showing 14 video streams which we will provide the chosen team with the direct URL. Now we will provide the wireframes to give you an indication of what we expect, each user will be connected using a username and password so a database will also be needed.
We expect to have the channel logo next to the name along with a number that can be typed in the android boxes keyboard or remote to allow the user to be able to zap to a different channel swiftly.
Basic functions we expect are, being able to use the up and down arrow to change channel, okay button to display a channel list and being able to navigate through the list using the up and down arrow keys.
The reason for this application just so we can be clear and honest with you is most of our customers are not very computer literate, they would like to be able to visit our site but for them to use a computer it is just not convenient or easy. When a user selects a channel we want the stream to open up on the screen in full screen and to begin playing.
Now one of your biggest challenges we believe will be finding a solution as to how we will be able to connect clients to this application and disconnect them when we see fit. We need to also make it secure so no one can then extract the application from an android box and use it for their own malicious reasons.
We expect the team that takes this project to speak very good and clear English as we will discus things through Skype video not just emails, and to have prior experience within this field of work. So previous experience within interface design is important is an advantage and if you live in the UK and we could meet face to face that's even more of a bonus.
