Room booking system - Modification of MRBS (open source PHP/MySQL)

Problem: A school with around 500 students needs a better study room booking system. Students themselves needs to be able to book rooms online. At the start of each year students get divided into groups. Each of these groups should be able to log in and reserve a study room. The MRBS script ( [login to view URL] ) seems absolutely perfect for this project. Many of these functions are included, but some things need to be added. I've tried to install MRBS, but got some trouble with some mandatory database updates. I'm hoping I did something wrong, and that the script is still working. Please check the secondary bid description for more details on what type of functions the I need. The coder I'm looking for is: - 100% dedicated - Skilled, fast working and gives quick replies - Focuses on security and usability - And has advanced PHP and MySQL skills If you have experience with MRBS, that would be great, but it's not required. However, references and good ratings here on rentacoder/vworker is needed. ## Deliverables #1 Students should be able to order a group room easily online. Group rooms should only be able to being booked 3 days each weeks, and maximum 2 weeks in advance. #2 The program should be able to handle at least 100 groups at the same time. #3 The program must be maintenance free #4 An admin must register all the groups (using their group name) at the start of each year. #5 The program must show which group rooms that are free, and which that are occupied (using green and red colors) #6 The program should each Friday 12.00 PM automatic "opens" so that the next week and the week after will be available for room reservation. #7 The program must show students both week numbers and some kind of time table (00:00-23.59). #8 The program must also require the students to log in and confirm the group room they ordered within 15 minutes after the time it was booked - so if a student group has ordered a room 15:00-17:00, they must confirm it between 14:45 and 15:15. If this isn't done, the program should give the room to the next group in the queue. So the program need some kind of queue system. #9 Students that are next in the que should get an email notification if the room isn't confirmed by the students that originally booked the room (see #8) #10 Admin must be able to temporary block groups from ordering rooms for X number of weeks. (the admin should be able to choose how many weeks to block the group from ordering rooms) Also, the UI will needing some slight adjustments.
