I am building a site with oscommerce, and want to integrate a phpmyBB2 bb, and a Smartor gallery. I want the databases coordinated so there is a single log on for the whole site, and interchangeable search capability. I would like the bb and gallery to use the headers and footers from the oscommerce, so that the whole look of the site is pretty seamless. An example of a site that does this well (but is not oscommerce based) is [url removed, login to view] . I like the integration of that site, and the use of hot buttons in the forums and gallery to enable one to quickly search a particular user's profile and gallery submissions. There will be some minor changes to the stock osc package, to add a sitemap, and to eliminate the right column. We want the nav bar a bit bigger, and to include links to the forum, sitemap, and gallery, a login box on every page if the user is not logged in. The column left would contain the categories, the search, and the set currency, and that's it. Finally, we would like the site to give the option to create a cookie so that the user needn't log in every time they visit if they prefer.
