Business Analyst

ConversionIR/ExInfluence Media is looking for a Business Analyst Project Manager on a short term freelance contract - to assist in the development of our content aggregation, publishing, marketing and expert financial community platform. You’ll have responsibility for analysing best practices and developing requirements for a broad range of critical features and functionality. The ideal candidate for this role will identify and define business and development requirements, as well as project manage the development of the platform. This part time role will include working with the software development team throughout the stages of the agile software development lifecycle, providing business feedback and status update, scheduling, communication, and documentation. Responsibilities: Business Requirements - work with management to define, document, and communicate business and process requirements. Identify systems and platform goals and requirements based on identifying best practices and how they apply to the execution of our unique vision. Business cases - Develop short form business and use cases Technical Requirements - work with our lead architect, marketing head and senior management to create technical and development requirements Project Management - Coordinate and manage the development and build out of the platform and accompanying website functionality Document meetings, develop project estimates and schedules. Quality Assurance - Provide quality assurance as part of the development process. Required Skills: 3+ years business analysis experience Experience modeling business processes and data. Experience in workflow analysis and documentation Strong technical and programming knowledge particularly in PHP with Laravel experience a strong advantage Strong understanding of application service delivery, and project life cycle (SDLC) phases, activities, and methodologies Skilled at identifying and evaluating technical solutions, matching appropriate technologies to business requirements. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate with and understand needs of non-technical individuals Demonstrated project leadership skills
