I have a codeigniter app the runs fine, but I am trying to fix some external php pages to not have .php extension. Note, this app is loaded into php pages (so not controlled by routes)... Example: [login to view URL] functions and loads app domain/[login to view URL] functions and loads app domain/about does not functions, shows ci 404 I have tried adding as a folder /about/ but app paths get messed up since it's in a lower directory. I have tried multiple .htaccess solutions with no luck.

Hello. It's probably a htaccess trick either directly or through a php script that distributes those files. I've done similar (with laravel not codeigniter) but the principle is the same. I can do this tonight if you want. I'm new to the platform, however I'm an experienced web developer with over 20 years of coding experience. the last 12 as a freelancer.
