Hi,
I want to customize my wordpress plugin called DOKAN which is a marketplace plugin where multiple sellers sell their product.
Issue:
When an order is completed the total value of the order is spit into seller earning and admin commission. The problem is the shipping fee also added to seller earning.
What to do:
Since I am providing the shipping service I want the shipping fees to be added to admin commission/ earnings.
Also there should be a service tax to be calculated for every sales in the admin commission
Eg;
Product Price : Rs. 1000
Shipping Fee: Rs. 50
Total order value (product price + shipping fee) : Rs. 1000 +Rs. 50 = Rs. 1050
Admin Commission (15% of product price) = Rs. 150
Admin Total Earnings (Admin commission+ Service tax (14% of admin commission) + Shipping fee): Rs. 150 + Rs. 21 + Rs. 50 = Rs. 221
Seller Earnings: Total order value - Admin commission - Service tax (14% of admin commission) = Rs. 1000 - Rs. 150 - Rs 21 = Rs. 829
I know this task is simple for a good coder and programmer who already worked with wordpress, php and plugins.
