I am using Ecwid as an online store.
The problem I'm having with Ecwid is that it's not capable of establishing a dimensional weight and size when a customer orders X numbers of the same item.
I need the shopping cart to look at the qty and sku, then go look at a file i create (that will include Weight and LxWxH per SKU and QTY), then somehow modify what is being sent to the Shipping carrier in the call, so it takes the new weight and dimensions based on sku and qty.
Here is the current website:

This is the reason we are wanting to do this.
As you can see below, the ecwid shipping price is way too much compared to what UPS charges us, and what our current webstore charges (Magento store).
We want to be able to manipulate an Excel file so that when a user goes to checkout, the shipping checks the SKU and Qty and then checks the excel and sends the weight and box dimensions to UPS to get our price.
Also, we don't have all inventory in our warehouse, so some items, like Monitors and stands will keep whatever dimensions are entered on Ecwid on the Tax and Shipping tab and follow the usual flow.

Hello,
I have gone through your requirement, and as per the API docs, it is possible to setup up a custom shipping method ( [login to view URL] ).
The script at this url would fetch the prices via UPS api. In the project title you've mentioned Javascript, but you will need a server side script (in PHP) that would get the prices via API. Do you have a setup for UPS API ?
Thanks,
Vayne
