I need a PHP script that lets a user upload a full size uncompressed JPG image - let's say they upload like a 3-4 megabyte image at full 300dpi. It will take this image, save the original, and make a copy of the image compressed down to a normal 72dpi web ready format at a normal file size for the web.

I used a similar script on www.discoveredinafrica.com. I can do this for you in less than 10 hours. I'm giving myself safe margins but 3 hours is quite possible
