The objective of the project is to develop a web platform to allow users to share locations from all around the world. The project tech requirements are: AWS based project - RDS + EC2 Ubuntu instances Laravel Framework MaterializeCss for the frontend The project is composed by different parts: Backend with API will be accessible from mobile apps and web apps [not MVP] Web (responsive) app to be indexed on google with certain information The app (web) have the following main features: Ability to search places by map Ability to find places by a given country or nearby a city Ability to create/edit/share posts (places suggestions) Ability to signup/signin Each user can have its own favorite spots to visit and list of spots to visit Each user can create calendar and reminders A user can unlock different badges based on the quality of the content he upload A user can vote a content by another user A user can follow another user The location element should have the following info: Name Type (mountain, lake, beach,sea, waterfall) Coordinates Main picture Array of pictures (uploaded by users ) Description Light pollution Accessibility information (Spot can be reached only hiking/by car) Distance from parking slot Restaurants/hotels nearby [using external APIs] If you are interested in this project please fill the form below [login to view URL]
