Wordpress/Woocommerce: Slow backend

For some time our Wordpress/Woocommerce backend has been running very slow (about 10 secounds of loadtime). Because of that we recently moved our site to WP Engine, but this has not helped. We are using heavy plugins like:
- Advanced Custom Fields PRO
- iThemes Security Pro
- Slider Revolution
- WPBakery Visual Composer
- WPML
