Hello, my name's Jorge, I am an electronics engineer with experience writing firmware for embedded devices. I have experience using Raspberry Pi boards, and also integrating programs used for camera caputre like OpenCV. I am capable of completing the project as proposed, saving the images with filename equal to current date/time and also adding some simple effects pre-capture (this could be done either by adding image filters, or maybe configuring the camera to be used). I'm an experienced developer with a keen interest in the Raspberry Pi. I've worked on many Pi related projects using various input/output boards. I have worked on projects using the Pi Camera to capture images via different triggers. Do you have a particular hi-def camera in mind? What is the MS/SQL application that you want to trigger the image capture from - how does that work? How should the filename be notified? pretty simple task, i can program in a python program to accept sql updates to take a picture with controls to adjust camera settings like iso, brightness, contrast, etc. if you want i can either program it and help you set it up on your raspberry pi or make a custom image with everything setup so that you can simply burn it to the sd card of the raspberry pi with no setup at your end ( except burning the sd card with the image, and plugging in the camera to the pi).
