E-commerce Platform

We're looking for a senior software developer / Team Lead with proven Back and Front End Java EE development skills to build and lead our software development team in Egypt. You will work with a team of talented project / managers, analysts and designers to build world-class e-commerce solutions. The ideal candidate is comfortable in a fast-paced environment and has experience to work on a variety of projects. You will help recruit and anchor a cross-functional team developing multi-tenanted SaaS products. You are experienced with all facets of front and back-end development in a J2EE environment all the way from database to user experience. You must also be experienced in best development and security practices. You enjoy mentoring and directing junior members of the team. Must have: • Bachelor (Masters is preferred) of Science Degree in Software Engineering from a reputable University • +10 years’ experience in software development using Java EE technologies and frameworks • Must have built several multi-tenanted B2B web portals and SaaS products • Solid Java / J2EE coding skills with hands on experience including Spring, Struts, JSP, JNDI, XML, JSON, SOAP / REST API development • Excellent server-side Java skills; ideally with fluent knowledge of key third party frameworks and libraries such as Spring, JAXB, Hibernate • Experience with front-end UI frameworks like Bootstrap, Foundation, etc. • Solid experience implementing web application using HTML5 and other JavaScript frameworks like AngularJS, React • Mastery of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, and experience working with JavaScript MVC concepts and frameworks • Must have experience with JHipster • Must have experience in SOAP Web Services, RESTful, AWS and MWS • Proficient in E-payment and payment gateway integration such as VISA and Master Card • Database design and development using Oracle and MySQL • Oracle PL/SQL development experience • Genuine excitement about technology and a strong interest in learning about and building compelling web applications and UI with the latest technologies • Develop functional and highly performing Java backend services, experience in Java / J2EE • Good comprehension, speaking and writing in English Nice to have: • Experience of big data analysis, data mining and data warehousing • Knowledge of building Restful application using Jersy • Familiar with continuous integration using Jenkins • Proficiency in source version control tools Git and GitHub • Experience in Apache Tomcat, Oracle WebLogic and IBM WebSphere • Experience in software analysis and design using IBM Requisite Pro and Visual Paradigm • Knowledge of using WebDriver and Junit as testing frameworks
