I require some clarification of your project: You have a 3d point cloud and you want to find a single plane that fits the data? If that is the case, then I propose to implement a minimization algorithm that finds the best fit plane by minimizing the deviation of the data points from the plane. For better performance, I recommend an outlier rejection scheme to remove unreliable data points. Please get in touch so we can discuss the task.

However, I have very little information; therefore, if you can provide a little bit more information to help me clarify things, I would like to be a part of your project and help you with the model building and tuning. I can build models with Keras, TensorFlow and PyTorch. I almost always use Jupyter Notebook and Python. We can build, RegularNets, CNNs, RNNs, Seq2Seq Models, or anything else it is required although I believe that you will most likely need CNNs or RNNs. I would like to learn more about your work.
