Update query to get results as count

I have a MS SQL Query on a web page - SELECT [login to view URL], [login to view URL], QuestionOptions.[option] FROM SurveyResponse INNER JOIN QuestionOptions ON [login to view URL] = [login to view URL] WHERE ([login to view URL] = 11) SurveyResponse is a table with thousands of users response to questions QuestionOptions is a table with the available responses to the questions. I need the query updated so that I get just a count of how many of each option available is in the query - not the full list of all several thousand results. - need to keep the questionid so we only have one question at a time
