Job Description Power BI Visualisation Specialist. Power BI Specialist, 6-month daily/hourly rate contract. 20 Hours Per Week. Front-end heavy role with a real focus on Power BI and design/UX. Uplift reporting capability & engage with senior stakeholders across the organisation. Power BI Visualisation Specialist. Experienced Power BI Business Intelligence Developer required for 6-month, daily/hourly rate contract role for a variety of companies including Financial Services, Goverment, Health & Aged Care organisations. Functions, Tasks & Responsibilities About the Role - The Visualisation Specialist will be working on the MS BI full-stack suite with Power BI. The role will focus on the end-to-end process to support and uplift the reporting and visualisation solutions shared across the organisation. The role will involve engaging, liaising and gathering requirements from a variety of stakeholders, including Executives. Required Experience and Knowledge: Strong Power BI experience. Experience in similar Senior reporting roles. Experience engaging and working with Executives and other senior stakeholders. Strong SQL server experience. Strong experience across all components of the traditional MS BI stack (SSIS, SSRS and SSAS). Cloud experience (Azure/AWS/GCP) a bonus. Experience transforming/uplifting Reporting function(s) a bonus. Basic Information: Visualisation Specialist | Clients based in Melbourne, Sydney & Brisbane Australia + Auckland & Wellington, New Zealand. 3+3+3+3 months' renewable initial contract - based on performance reviews every 3 months | 20 Hours Per Week. Working from Home is ideal and work can be performed outside of hours; with realistic and flexible timelines. Attractive Daily/Hourly Rate paid fortnightly subject to an approved client timesheet.

I am Eszter Bognár, graduated at the Budapest University of Technology and Economics, Business Informatics M.Sc. program. After I got my bachelor’s degree in computer engineering, I decided to continue my studies at Business Informatics, where I could amend my IT skills with economical knowledge. I am mostly interested in different data mining techniques which help us to extract the insights from the information sources thus empower data driven business decision making. Besides getting familiar with the most important algorithms (neural networks, clustering, classification etc.) I had the opportunity to learn the basics of different data mining and statistical applications such as RapidMiner, SAS Enterprise Miner, Oracle DM, Weka, SPSS and the open source R and Python programming language. I also have knowledge in programming and scripting languages (MS Powershell, C#, Java SE), using database management softwares (Oracle DBMS, MS Database and Oracle NoSQL) and the most important query languages (SQL, PL/SQL). For visualization I usually use Tableau and Oracle Apex and Dash, but using Power BI won't be a problem too. I really love creating BI dashboards and I also understand the data analysis part behind the charts so this will be my dream job. During this pandemic, I would really love to have a job that I can do remotely from my home. I look forward to discussing your objectives and how we can work together and accomplish them.
