We are looking to use the Magento platform to create an online solution for an apartment rental system that requires month-to-month payments.
We will be using Magento's built in recurring profiles function to handle the "subscription" functionality of the website. We are a small facility and most of the time our customers come in and pay for their apartment in cash. That is why it is super important that the admin can easily make payments on customers' accounts through their back end. We also need to make sure the system is keeping track of late fees and applying those to payments made after the due date. Below is a list of the features we need to have built into this customization:
Subscriptions need to hold the same day every month regardless of when a payment comes in. So if John Smith starts his rental on 3/25/15 and decides to pay his bill on 4/20/15 his next payment is still due on 5/25/15 and NOT 5/20/15.
Need admin to be able to post payments on customers right from the admin back end.
Need to automatically charge late fees if payment is overdue.
Customers need to be able to pay for months in advance if they want to.
Want to use Paypal Payflow and [login to view URL] CIM for automatic payments.
