Hi there. The problem is that IP address is private to your network. You need to find out the public IP address assigned to your server and then do the port-forwarding in your router. I can help you with those things, no problem at all and it's normally a matter of one hour at most. Only problem is that if your internet provider does not allow that, you have a problem there. Need to know if you have public IP environment, if you have public IP what kind of router you are using. It can be done by using other DNS techniques. Lets do it!!!

Hi! I've done similar if not the same things before. I've been using XAMPP (WAMP) too. I'm both proxying from a hosted webserver to a custom endpoints on my machine and pointing a subdomain to my machine. Curious what exactly you mean with virtual domains. I get that you can translate custom domains to IPs via hosts file like a local DNS and have Apache detect the domain on the request - is that it? Also, for a specific machine somewhere else over the Internet. Also you need to be able to have ports open and forwarded to the physical machine from you router and/or ISP. I don't need to help with this, just had some bids to spare and thought I'd share some info :) You can always write for more info. Roland
