Hello, 12 Microsoft certifications, 8 years' experience in Windows & Windows Server environments. Worked for Microsoft for about 4 years in the last line of defense for unresolved bugs and issues. How much do you want to execute on this project? Just migrate and see what happens OR do you want to migrate and test with every user if everything is ok OR maybe (recommend custom solution): a) backup and test the backup before we start to migrate. b) close outside connections and start migrating so we prevent data corruption / loosing data. c) test the migrated database with a meaningful batch of users. d) secure the server and establish local / offsite backups for future.
