I am a linguist involved in the research of syntactic variation and linguistic diversity. I hold a bachelor degree in Language Sciences and a MA degree in Linguistic Revision and Consultancy. I worked for over 2 years in an IT department developing language processing tools, namely machine translation tools. I participated in two projects: DP4LT, that aimed for the creation and management of an annotated corpus; and QTLeap, that consisted of the development of better machine translations through the use of deep language engineering approaches. I was responsible for the syntactic and semantic annotation of Portuguese sentences, text revision and quality translation assurance. I also tested and evaluated the quality of several linguistics resources.

I was responsible for the communication with the participants, the management of their application, proceedings and invoices. I also collaborated in the production of the conference materials and I assisted in the coordination of the cultural program (tours, dinners and reception venues). In addition to these administrative tasks, I coordinated the team of volunteers.
