The audio needs to be edited to remove unwanted noise, and to clear the pops which happened when the air hit the microphone. I use this kind of signal processing on a daily bases. I listened to the audio file that is provided below, conclusion is that the background noise while the voice is heard is not loud but it can be attenuated, the critical areas are when he stops speaking and there are pops and clicks which can be easily edited. While he is speaking there are some pops which happened when the air from the mouth hit the microphone ( plosives) and that can be solved by use of compression and level riding to some extent and use of some plug-ins which can help reduce the energy in those parts. I am recoding bands for free and doing some volunteering work in order to build my portfolio, so i can be at your service for whatever you need and I don't mind making adjustments to the audio until you are 100% satisfied with the material.
