Business analyst with 15yrs professional experience using Excel and VBA to build deceptively simple solutions to complex reporting and automation problems. I have worked extensively with Excel to build financial reporting systems and am degree qualified in finance so have an innate understanding of the sort of ratios you require. Most recently I built a drill down balanced scorecard report which connected directly to the back-end of our accounting, POS, and payroll softwares to display complex metrics (like comparing marketing spend from month-to-date / year-to-date to number of new customers to calculate cost of customer acquisition, or determining current FTE staff from payroll to financial data to determine HR spend / full-time equivalent employee) and dynamic graphs (graphs updated as user cycles through month and year). I have also delivered a complete financial reporting system in MS access, which allowed users to drill down into general ledger branches I am unfortunately unable to provide a sample of the work, as it was prepared for my empolyer and I was unable to transfer files from the server (in addition the links directly into the back-end of software means the file would display #N/A if provided as you would be unable to refresh the data source).
