Island Style, Survivor Theme, website graphics (advanced)

THIS IS A GRAPHIC DESIGN JOB ONLY with the potential to do the html page design as well (for the right person): This custom project is for someone with a fun, creative style who can use bold colors to produce eye-pleasing graphics that match a common theme and design a basic html page that uses the images provided. All work must be clean, crisp and well-balanced. Assignment: I'll need one large 944 pixel wide image that shows in detail all the features of the "home" page using graphics you create. From that image I'll need a "header" graphic to use myself in later projects. I will also need an "alternate page" that allows me to use the header/footer elements of the page to create other content pages. 1. Main Home Page Graphic 2. Logo Graphic based on main page design (for T-Shirts, stationary, etc) 3. Footer and sidebar elements like buttons, icons, tikis, etc. 4. Header design based on main page graphics. I will provide examples of styles I like, images of similar themes and provide detailed descriptions of the theme and various components for the header/banner and logo designs. The theme is "Survivor" style logo, with an island/tiki theme (volcano, palm trees, ocean, whale, etc) The design will incorporate drawing an island (cartoon style) w/waterfall, palms and beach in the center with text under. The border will include some graphics; I will provide details. The overall page will be dark-colored, adventure theme... gradient or artwork background preferred. If you look closely at the various survivor logos for each years show, you'll get an idea of a theme. It is somewhat cartoonistic-with a jungle, beach, travel-explore concept... PAGE ONE: full-color, high quality graphics (no pictures) using colors and design features similar to the Survivor series artwork. Examples will be provided. The main page will be 944 pixels wide and the artwork can be that wide but because many browsers still use 720 to 800 width, I want the majority of the graphics to be within 750 pixels. The project is developing a unique and functional Website design for a TRAVEL BUSINESS. An opening page design and an inner page to include content and navigation links at top and bottom. I am looking for a creative designer. Someone who is able to develop a unique style and "Survivor/Indianna Jones" type design. This person must possess the following qualities: 1. The ability and willingness to contribute ideas and solutions; 2. Understanding and following "Survivor", "Island" and "Tiki" design styles; 3. Adding functional aspects of a creative design for later use in the full design; 4. The designer should be flexible and able to function as a team player, communicates well, etc; 5. The willingness to take responsibility. Someone who delivers on time and fulfill agreements. Too often I have outsourced to foreign developers who said they could deliver but didn't. 6. Providing high quality. Almost anyone can make a design, but very few are able to develop creative and unique design, which combines the following aspects: cool style, functional design, meets my goals, and a deep understanding of what demanding web surfers and looking for in a high-quality website. The theme/style is SURVIVOR, adventure travel, jungle-beach-island-tiki, to a specific destination. The images MUST NOT be flash. PNG, JPG only. Furthermore, all bidder for this project must have the following facilities and resources: 1. A substantial amount of independant skills, talents and abilities. Often I am available to help with ideas, but it is important that the designer also has the appropriate resources and research skills to find answers and get the job done; must speak excellent English; 2. A good Internet connection and speed with solid communication skills and availability; I am not looking for an average designer, but a designer who is top notch! To take your offer under consideration I need the following information: 1. At least 5 links to designs previously made by you- or actual links to images you created; 2. An explanation of why you want to take part in this project; 3. Information about your availability. Is this freelance work that you do besides your normal work or is this your fulltime job? I also want to know if you have time to immediately begin this project? 4. If you want to design the page as well: A proposal to create site/design to include all graphics, 2 pages of HTML that uses the graphics; "main home page" and "another content page" plus 3 other pages TBA; all with simple navigation and a place for content to be added later. 5. Must provide a serious timeframe to complete the project; i.e. 7 days, 14 days, 21 days, etc. 6. I DO NOT WANT SOMEONE WHO INTENDS TO OUTSOURCE THE JOB. You must be a designer to bid on this project. 7. 48 hour responses to all emails. BUDGET: $250 for this project. If the final work is exceptional, I'll increase the payment to $300. Final payment only upon completion of project. If the project is not completed as described and directed by me, the project is cancelled without payment.
