Instead of fooling around with other formalities we would like to move straight to project discussion: we have gone through your requirement completely: here are our inputs for the same: PHP vs Wordpress Although the project can be done both in PHP and WP, we advice PHP as you need faster loading feature and lighter site. In PHP Database queries can be more optimized rather than WP as it follows standard Query string protocols inbuilt for CMS ( Plugins queries too make it heavier CMS), Plus constant Updating Wordpress- More Customization cannot be done as all the work has to be re-done or done using Child Themes. Translating User Inputs once they are available on SITE: For this we would advise using both methods using Google Translator Plugin and Manual Translation ( Where in after user submits the form.. it comes to you for approval.. you have the option to select language and paste content translated in other language in Unicode format, multiple language submissions will be allowed for the same). Now when user opens the website in his location we try locating the user location and load site with translated native language---> Manual Translation submitted by you will be given first priority-- in case not found then google translator will be used. ---we also suggest allowing user himself/herself submit translated content in unicode format--- can be dicussed !! I have checked the reuirements and here are a few questions and comments: 1) On the reference website, there isn't a user system, where a user can register or login. Do you need it this way? 2) What will be the search criteria? 3) Regarding the translations issue, if you decide to go ahead with a CMS there are extensions that help you include/submit a translation for a page/article or you can use google translation plugin. If you decide to work with PHP/MySQL you have the same two options. I could buld your website with PHP/MySQL or based on Joomla, a CMS that I prefer to work with. hello sir, first of all thanks for presenting everything so nicely on your document so there is almost no confusion about the work specification, rather it's so much clear that, I can realize the things. Anyway now, the point you want the developer to think about is the translation and that surely a job of a developer, now if you opt for google translator, they probably have two kinds of translator, one is through their API and the cost of this cloud service is pretty high, the second one is simply embed the google translator bar inside the website, the problem there is user can see a bar containing the logo of google and dropdown to select the language. Now, another solution without google is manual for that the information we have in our hand like the name of the options on the navigation, about us and content of this kind of pages we can store the content in several files according the language and when user chose the language the system will pull the content from the appropriate language file. In this case you don't have anything to do with content user put when submitting form, any language they use will be shown and can not be translated later. So, please decide and let me know.
