CIUDAD DEPORTIVA HEREDIA It is a sports and leisure complex, located in the central canton of Heredia, this complex will benefit the entire Herediana community from children, youth, adults and seniors, this project is focused on improving the quality of life of the inhabitants of the central canton of Heredia through the practice of sports to obtain physical and mental health. The project will host the following sports categories: Soccer: As it is the traditional sport of Costa Ricans, several sports fields will be developed in these areas, ready for the practice of sports in the categories for the training of boys and girls, youth and high-performance female and male competition. Each field will have its specific design for each category, for example: Fields for practicing soccer 7, Soccer 9 and 11. Several soccer games may be taking place at the same time in each category. The different soccer schools, primary and secondary education schools, and universities, will be able to enroll in the Ciudad Deportiva program and use the campus to prepare and enhance their skills. These fields will be made of synthetic material due to the high traffic expected, closed, illuminated and will have stands for fans. Beach Volleyball: 3 beach volleyball courts will be housed for the practice and development of this sport, they will be courts with regulatory measures for national and international competition, they will have stands with capacity for 250 - 500 people, with access for people with disabilities, closed and lighting. Basketball and Volleyball: A multipurpose facility will be developed, which will be used mainly for the practice of basketball and volleyball. It will be used for mass events such as concerts, mass gatherings, negotiating with the Costa Rica telethon to return home and other indoor sports. Athletics: As it is a sport that contains a set of disciplines grouped into races, jumping, throwing, combined events and walking, Ciudad Deportiva Heredia will host an athletics track with its lighting, this track will be of high quality with synthetic pavements to make them more durable. and resistant to climatic influences. We want to use the most used pavements on athletics tracks around the world with high-tech products to help athletes achieve their maximum performance. Baseball: It is a very selective sport, and if you ask us if Ciudad Deportiva will host a venue to practice it, well the answer is; Yeah. This venue will be built so that lovers of this sport can practice it and feel like they are in the big leagues, it will have stands for 3,000 people, it will have dressing rooms and it will be illuminated. Squash & Racqueball: This discipline will have its space in Ciudad Deportiva Heredia, we will have 6 Squash & Racqueball rooms equipped for the practice of this sport. Indoor Soccer and Handball: We will have 4 indoor soccer fields, 2 indoor and handball fields, and two outdoors. The fields will be illuminated and with stands to accommodate fans, they will be built with the best materials to give them durability in the face of weather conditions. Tennis: 4 outdoor tennis courts next to each other, will be proposed so that this sport is further enhanced in our province, illuminated to be able to practice it during summer nights, and a court with official measurements with stands to accommodate 3000 people to compete in international competitions. Table Tennis: There will be a table tennis gym to house 15 tennis tables for the simultaneous practice of this sport, with stands for 250-500 people. Chess: Heredia Sports City will have a large multipurpose room that will be used as a center for special events and will be able to host a world chess championship with up to 150 participants simultaneously. This room can be divided into smaller units for practice and learning school. Boxing: Can you imagine a boxing evening in Heredia? With Sports City, athletes in this discipline will have the boxing preparation center (SCH Sports City Heredia), which will be an athlete preparation and development area where they will obtain all the necessary equipment to enhance their skills. Ciudad Deportiva Heredia Amphitheater: It will have an amphitheater with a capacity of 10,000 people indoors, with the intention of being able to host massive events and concerts by both national and international artists. We want our musicians to have a decent place where they can make their music known. We want support them and this project is for them. Social area for pets: Finally there will be a place for the little ones in the house, a special area so that your pets can have a social encounter so they can learn to play and socialize safely with other pets. This social area will be a safe place where your pets can develop their confidence when facing new and unfamiliar situations, they will be exposed to many new and different sights, sounds and surfaces with the guidance of a professional trainer, you and your pet will learn to interact and explore this changing environment. Craft market and amusement park: Sports city will have a large boulevard where it will house a craft market, for entrepreneurial women and housewives, as part of the local government plan we want to support all those entrepreneurs who have small business ideas and who do not They have where to market their products. Assisted residence for the elderly with an emergency geriatric facility: Our government will invest the resources in the best way for the benefit of the Heredianos. This project will give back to our old people everything they gave for us, they are a stronghold and we have to take care of them, so that they enjoy their last days to the fullest. A Geriatric building with rooms and bathrooms adapted for them; that integrates the care center for the care of the elderly, we want the Heredians to participate in this project through donations in kind and social work, to give them a better quality of life, this building will be located in a wing of the City Sports Heredia, so that they have time and space for recreation and take advantage of all the green and sports areas that this great project will bring to the community. He will be a model to follow at the Central American level.
