Design of a pizza restaurant logo

We are working to open a pizza counter and are now reaching the logo phase. We are looking for a logo with the company name and a pizza character. We want the logo to make the brand young, rock, memorable and fun. This pizza character is not triangle shaped but square with a cheese crust as we will be offering Detroit Style Pizza. Our inspiration in terms of colours and cultural symbols is the meeting of USA and Italy ?? ?? as well as the weird/freak and industrial city of Detroit The logo should be modern, friendly and remarkable. We will print the logo on our t-shirts so we want to be super proud of it :) We want the pizza character to have two red makeup stripes crossing the eyes diagonally as as a reference to both the tomato sauce red stripes classically used on top of Detroit Style Pizza, and the iconic red stripes make-up on the face of rock star David Bowie The pizza character has no sex, it is not a male, it is not a female. Unisex for sure, androgynous is an option we like too. The logo will also have the pizzeria name. Font inspiration and design inspirations are included in the attached brief. Additional details will be of course provided to the selected designer. Once the logo is finished, we will collaborate on other branding materials. Logo to be provided in ai, png and jpg formats. As we have a very clear idea of what we are looking for for the logo and the feel of the brand, we will choose the designer based on the visual affinity we have with her/his style so hence you are welcome to share your portfolio so we can better understand your artistic universe.
