English: I would like to have a library that can generate a PDF document parameterized with user data from a template. The template should be easily editable (suggestions on any technology are accepted, preferably OpenOffice, XML, anything reports technology, and so on. The steps should be indicated to complete such a task, because it may not be performed all in one step). The template should be formatted (bold, italics, titles, bleeding ..., not only plain text) as it will represent a legal contract. Different user configured values ​​can be found anywhere in the document and / or annexes. Information to be displayed is in database, so the library should be able to accept a collection of input parameters and return a memory object that represents the pdf to be displayed. This object won't be stored on disk at any time, because of security reasons, so it will not be allowed to write to disk on the server (templates can be read, however). We are open to suggestions on how to carry out this process. This library will be part of a Java Spring MVC + Hibernate project, which will be incorporated. ---------------------------------- Spanish: Me gustaría disponer de una librería que permita generar un documento pdf parametrizado con los datos de un usuario a partir de una plantilla. Dicha plantilla debería ser fácilmente editable (se aceptan sugerencias sobre cualquier tecnología, preferiblemente OpenOffice, XML, etc, siempre y cuando se indiquen los pasos a seguir para llevar a cabo tal tarea, ya que puede que no se pueda realizar todo en un solo paso). La plantilla debe tener formato (negrita, cursiva, títulos, sangría, etc, no solo texto plano), ya que representará un contrato legal. Los distintos valores parametrizados del usuario se podrán encontrar en cualquier parte del documento y/o anexos. Actualmente la información a mostrar se encuentra en Base de Datos, por lo que la librería debería poder aceptar una colección de parámetros de entrada y devolver un objeto que represente el pdf a visualizar. Dicho pdf deberá generarse en memoria, y no almacenarse en disco en ningún momento, ya que por seguridad no se permitirá escribir en disco en el servidor (sí se podrán leer las plantillas). Estamos abiertos a sugerencias sobre como llevar a cabo este proceso. Esta librería formará parte de un proyecto Java Spring MVC + Hibernate, al que se incorporará.
