I have a Ruby on Rails app that stores multiple online shop products. I need a bookmarklet built that will scrape data from the currently viewed online shop page. This data includes:- - Page Title - Root Domain URL - Product Title - Product Price - Product Image URL This scrape command needs to be in the form of a hyperlink that someone can drag into their browser bookmarks bar, click on it when they find an eccomerce product they want to save, and the product data is transferred to the Ruby app. If the user is not logged in to the rails app, the scraper will return a 'Please Login to save products' message if the cookie is not present. Once the user is logged in and the data has been scraped, it must be sent to Ruby and ran through the regular 'create' controller method for the 'Product' resource. The scraper must be able to scrape any online store page. IE [login to view URL], [login to view URL], [login to view URL] etc. The scraper javascript must have an interface attached to it, so when the scraper is initiated on the external eshop product page, the user has the ability to select elements (divs) on the page that contain the correct information.
