Acrobat PDF: Insert Query Data into PDF

End Result: A PDF with data from a local Microsoft SQL Server database prepended to it. PDF Image(s) need to show up after the data is called, thus the database data must be shown before the images. Initial thoughts: It is difficult, if not impossible to get MS Access to play nicely with multi-page PDF's in an MS Access report. Ideally, we would have a report have it's text set, with all of the PDF pages/images immediately following the report text. The PDF images are all different shapes and sizes, thus making the coding challenging from this angle. If you know of an elegant way of doing this, you can try it, but we haven't had good results. Idea 1: Use MS Access VBA to open a linked PDF file, and prepend the MS Access/MS SQL Server query (the report data has to come BEFORE the images). Idea 2 (not ideal...): Create a JavaScript action in Acrobat DC which connects to a DB and prepends the data in a neat HTML based format. This action would have to execute for an entire folder of PDFs. Each PDF would have to tie into a query somehow to make the data unique. Our MS Access report will have 100-300 query results, so take memory management into consideration. This isn't a one-off script, it needs to be flexible enough to handle many query results. Looking for a solution for this problem and the ability to write and execute some demonstration code. Queries generally have 30 or 40 fields of data, so ideally try to execute the script in VBA. :: We use Acrobat DC so code must be compatible with that. :: Script must take into account that all PDF pages must be standard 8.5x11 :: Query has a main description field which can range in size from 10 - 10000 characters, so if prepending to a header, take that into account.
