Dear coder This project is about creating a video interview front end functionality on an existing site. This will comprise 3 pages: -a job description + upload job quesitons video (via file upload or via device camera and stream to server) for the hiring manager -a candidate page with functionality to stream interview questions and upload interview answers within a time limit -dashboard with all information on jobs posted and candidates and their interviews and interviews answers THE SCOPE -A hiring manager will post a series of short video clips to which the candidate must respond: an intruduction video and up to 5 questions posed as a video (i.e. a total of 6 videos). A candidate that applies for this job will be taken to a page where he can go ahead and take the interview questions and record the answers and finally a dashboard from where the hiring manager can check each applying candidate's profile (view cv) and listen to his/her answers REQUIREMENTS -A job title input field should be provided (mandatory) -A skillset input field should be provided (mandatory) -The UI should allow both for an upload or for recording the interview with the device's camera -The video files will have a predictable name ( example: [login to view URL]) and will be associated with a users (the candidate or the hiring manager) -The files can be edited (meaning removed, replaced, changed in order) -Cap on file size (yet to be determined) -Nice UX experience, no [login to view URL] errors -Design reference for the upload part should be something along the lines of [login to view URL] obviously simplified -All CRUD operations are done via an endpoint (i.e. server side, which not part of the project) -Possibly with no additional library installation or with a discussion beforehand -Ideally the websocket streaming will be carried out via web workers and raw video wuold be compressed before sending. THE TECHNOLOGY The site is written for the front end in AngularJS (i.e. angular 1). We make use of angular-ui and bootstrap. The technology that will be used needs to be discussed and agreed before the project starts. I see as options technologies like webrtc, post, grpc. Good luck with the bidding!
