ASP developer to finish up a corporate website

The goal is to complete an existing web site redesign already underway, which currently stands at 80% completion.? This web site was started by another developer but went uncomplete.? The new developer would need to be able to pick up where he left off.? Target launch date is the first week of January, 2009. The site is built using ASP, HTML, Javascript, CSS and embedded Flash.? It was developed using Dreamweaver templates.? The pages are all static with the exception of 4 embedded feeds: A News Feed, Events Feed, Announcements Feed, and Job Listings Feed.? There are two forms: An embedded web-to-lead Salesforce form (functioning) and a Contact Support form (non-functioning). ## Deliverables Site URL during development <[login to view URL]> Site URL upon release <[login to view URL]> Site Administration URL <[login to view URL]>? **SPECIFIC NEEDS:** ·? ? ? ? The Navigation Bar needs to be embedded into the “noscript?? version of the site. ·? ? ? ? Editing the Navigation Bar as it stands is difficult.? Finding a better way to make changes than manually editing the [login to view URL] file is preferred. ·? ? ? ? Local images are referenced in the non-working "noscript" nav bar. ·? ? ? ? There should be up to three news items and up to three event items showing on the right-hand-side bar on the home page.? Currently it will display all active items which is incorrect.? Clicking on “More News?? and “More Events?? should take you to the full list of active items. ·? ? ? ? Creating news, events, announcements, and jobs in the admin tools works but the edit function for existing items does not work. ·? ? ? ? Announcements are used as an easy to change/edit global update to all website visitors but only one should show at any one time.? The most recent (by date) active announcement should show on the home page under the welcome text but above any other content in the main content area.? Curently it will show more than one announcement and the “Archive?? link should not show.? ·? ? ? ? A mechanism is needed to attach files when creating or editing news and event items.? This will be used to upload .pdfs and other supporting documents for news, event, and announcement items. ·? ? ? ? The "Information For" navigation bar style & colors needs tweaking.? Currently there is no “noscript?? functionality.? This needs to be added in conjunction with the current JavaScript functionality or replacing it altogether with a comparable non-JavaScript function. ·? ? ? ? The top level pages for each tab ([login to view URL], [login to view URL], etc..) need a third column in the body (on the right) where marketing buttons can be placed. ·? ? ? ? The site needs a working Search Function (Preferably Google Branded).? The search should pull up pages and/or items in the database that match the search string. ·? ? ? ? The Contact Support Form (non-functioning) needs to be emailed to an address that can be specified in the Admin portion of the site.? This address should be hidden from bots that scrub the site for email addresses. ·? ? ? ?
