Making Our Hotel Booking Site Return Search Result Faster

We are an online hotel reservation website Our website built on the following Platform: - ASP.Net - MS SQL DB - Windows 2003 Server - VB.NET Our website has recently been Integrated to a supplier via XML API and when users makes a search for a hotel on our site a Web service is called to the Supplier before the result are returned for the user. we currently are calling webservice for all data like: - photos - descriptions - amenities - availability - Room Prices - Room Types etc at the moment. We recently have tried to store all the above data locally in our SQL database with the exception of (1) Availability, (2) Prices, (3) Room Types which we must get Live at all times via webservice but the search results are not coming faster even with storing the bulk of the data locally. **_What do We Need Now?_** What we need now is an experience coder who knows what he/she is doing who in terms of working with XML and Databases that can suggest ways to us to make our search result on our site to be faster when users are making a search.
