Custom IIS ISAPI DLL

Need a customer IIS ISAPI DLL created to handle username / password authentication. DLL must password protect the /account/ directory on the web server. When the user attempts to access a file in this folder (and any folders in the hierarchy below this one), the user should be prompted with the default realm/username/password dialog box. The realm should specify "Softpair Vendor Administration". The DLL should then check our database (ODBC Connection / DSN connection to SQL Server 2000), via a stored procedure which we will provide. If the user name/password is valid, it will allow access to the directory/files. It would be nice if the DLL would "cache" the validated username as valid so it doesn't have to check the database with every page request. Instead, it would check the database only if the page request is for an account that has not been validated/cached within the last 15 minutes. So if the user has validated within the last 15 minutes, and they request a page, it won't check the database. If its over 15 minutes, it will check the database again. We should also be able to pull the username that was used to authenticate with the ASP [login to view URL]("Logon_Name") object. This functionality is similar to the component at [login to view URL], except we don't need all of the customizable control that this one provides. Just the ability to validate a single directory and all under it against our database. ## Deliverables Complete and fully-functional working program(s) in executable form as well as complete source code of all work done.
