The purpose of this program is to split down large html documents into smaller ones as follows:
Each file is in the same format with a header section, multiple detail lines, and a footer section.
I have attached a sample input file.
Although the header and footer sections will not alway contain the same code, the detail lines are consistent in that they are in pairs, i.e.:
line 1 of the pair starts with <font face="Arial" size="2">
line 2 contains <p>
Two parameters need to be entered initially:
1. Input file name,
2. Number of pairs
So, say the input file name was [login to view URL] as per the attached sample input file and the input number of pairs was 100. If [login to view URL] contained 350 detail pairs, the output files would be:
[login to view URL], containing the original header, pairs 1-100, and the original footer
[login to view URL], containing the original header, pairs 101-200, and the original footer
[login to view URL], containing the original header, pairs 201-300, and the original footer
[login to view URL], containing the original header, pairs 301-350, and the original footer
This program is only required to run on a Windows 10 PC with no online functionality
