Wordpress plugin to exract vimeo thumbnails for private videos

Overview For my clients (on a Wordpress Multisite network) who need to make and store a lot of videos I want them to use Vimeo plus or pro version so that they can their store their videos and to make them private (if they want to) which vimeo allows. The benefits of this are * Faster video * Very little restriction on video size * Make them private The benefits to me are * Less strain on my server So what's the problem I want to solve? The real problem relates to extracting the Vimeo thumbnail image source of the video using the Vimeo api. Why do I want to do that? The reason I want to extract the thumbnail image source is because I want to use the image source in some html that creates a PDF of a Wordpress post Via docraptor ...but that's not your concern I already have code to produce the PDFs. Simply I want a php function that extracts the thumbnail image source of a private Vimeo video..I emphasise PRIVATE meaning that it requires Vimeo user credentials to retrieve this information In summary 1. I need a Wordpress plugin that allows the user to enter and store their Vimeo user credentials. Preferably stored in Wordpress site options. I need a plugin settings page accessible only by admins to handle this 2. Then a function that given the id of a Vimeo video and the user credentials returns the source of the Vimeo image. (I then use that for producing PDFs..but you do not need to worry about that) Some facts you should be aware of This needs to work on a site by site basis in a Multisite Wordpress environment I have some code that I can give you that I have used recently that works for public vimeo videos but not private ones which may help you.
