Dear Machine Learning experts, I am looking for a python based tensorflow solution which can classify images for the following cases. 1) Color-cast vs Non color-cast images 2) Black & White (or Sepia) vs color images 3) Blurred Photos vs normally sharp photos I have a database of 2000 images for each classes. The main challange here is as follows. Classic CNN architecture (or Inception-V3) is predominently looking into shapes in the images. But I want a CNN model for classifing global features of image such as color-cast or sharpness. Hence shape based classifier is not what I am looking for. Please refer to the following paper and let me know if you can work in this challenge. Hi I studied the requirements, I am agree with you that its not object detection task but content based image recognition (CBIR) scheme is to be applied. I have done similar work for categorizing the images like into tribal images, flower images, building images using global features like color based information, saturation, ,mean etc. A complete solution to this work will also be provided. Hello, my name is Alex. Your challenge looks interesting, but I believe it does not request a deep learning approach. I believe it may be solved through classical algorithms and some heuristics. My proposal is to merge both approaches (deep learning + classical algorithms) to provide you a solid and reliable solution. I worked for last two years in a fin tech company, in which I developed image processing software for OCR, segmentation and quality analysis, I use to evaluate several techniques before to decide the one to be employed. I am used to work with Keras API + Tensorflow backend, this stack has worked very fine for me. There is a Nvidia GPU GTX 1070 (1920 CUDA cores, 1.68 GHz) for running deep learning codes inside my personal computer. Best regards!

We will use tensorflow with floydhub for high end computing as it increases reliability and reduces downtime or lost time. The CNN we will use will use will be a mix of a style transfer algorithm coupled with the math formulation as mentioned in the paper provided by you. We will use it to develop and minimize the perceptual loss function and then train it in floydhub using standard pretrained keras libraryies
