I have past experience with Raspberry Pi and I have a Raspberry Pi 2. What you want is something like a gateway between a TCP/IP network and a RF device without TCP/IP capabilities like the nrf24L01, zigbee, z-wave or others of the same kind. First I need to know the type of RF that you are planning to use?
