CQG API Coding

Hi Victor I hope you are well. I've spent the last few weeks exploring all my option regarding the job that I initially posted and have a much better understanding of my needs now. Having been somewhat mis-informed by someone at CQG I now have been able to do all of my back-testing with CQG and also know what it can do for me from an automated trading point of view. I do now need a small piece of CQG API work doing and I was wondering if you were free to have a look and and to let me know if you can help. If so I can post it as a job on freelancer.com and go from there. This is what I now need: I'm looking for some help in setting up a CQG automated trading strategy. Most of it is pretty straight forward, utilising the standard CQG Advanced Trader features along with my own pre-defined conditions. However, one of the indicators I will be using is a CQG Third Party Study for which the undelying code is unavailable. This indicator is either set to "zero" when false or "1" when true. The signal takes one bar to form and I'd like my trade entry to occur when it instigates at the start of the bar rather than waiting for the end of the bar. However, on the few occasions that the signal isn't confirmed at the end of the bar I'd like the system to be able to recognise this and submit an "exit" order accordingly. From what I can tell this should be managable via the CQG API with a small amount of VBA coding. I will probably also need to create an additional "Break even" order type which, again, looks to be do-able by utilising CQG's Algorithmic Order Builder. I'd like the work carried out in 2 stages: Stage 1 - I would like a spreadsheet applcation that can record the signals in real time running on live CQG data. This will record the time and date of confirmed signals and also record the failed signals described above. Stage 2 - Once I've reviewed the results of this live test (probably after 4 weeks) I will then require the assistance to set up the rest of the trading strategy and validation described above. Please let me know if you're able to assist me with this task and please also give me a cost estimate for both stage 1 and stage 2. Best wishes Paul
